Desa 20 Tablets
Description:
Desa 20 Tablets (desa 5 mg 20 f.c. tabs) is an oral antihistamine medicine containing desloratadine, a second-generation, long-acting tricyclic H1 receptor antagonist. It is used to relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis (such as sneezing, runny or itchy nose, and itchy or watery eyes) and chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives and itching). As a non-sedating antihistamine at recommended doses, Desa helps control allergy symptoms throughout the day with once-daily dosing, supporting comfortable breathing and improved quality of life for allergy sufferers.
Indications:
- Relief of symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever), including sneezing, runny nose, nasal itching, and nasal congestion.
- Relief of symptoms of perennial allergic rhinitis, including persistent nasal and ocular allergy symptoms.
- Relief of ocular allergy symptoms such as itchy, red, or watery eyes associated with allergic rhinitis.
- Treatment of chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives), helping reduce skin redness, itching, and wheals.
- General relief of histamine-mediated allergic symptoms affecting the upper respiratory tract and skin.
Active Ingredients / Key Components:
- Desloratadine – 5 mg per film-coated tablet.
- Other tablet excipients (such as fillers, binders, coating agents, and colorants) are present but specific names and concentrations , please check the product leaflet or the manufacturer’s official website.
Dosage & Administration / How to Use:

- Duration of use should be based on the persistence of symptoms and the advice of your doctor or pharmacist. For seasonal allergies, use during the exposure period; for chronic urticaria, follow your doctor’s instructions.
