Description:

Panadol Gsk Night 24 Tablets is an over-the-counter pain relief and nighttime sleep aid medicine formulated for short-term management of pain associated with difficulty sleeping. Each tablet combines paracetamol (acetaminophen), a well-known analgesic and antipyretic, with an antihistamine sedative (diphenhydramine hydrochloride) to relieve mild to moderate pain and help you fall asleep more easily. It is commonly used for bedtime relief of headache, backache, toothache, muscular and joint pain, cold and flu aches and pains, and fever when these symptoms disturb sleep. Manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), Panadol Night provides effective pain relief while supporting restful sleep when taken as directed.

Indications:

• Relief of mild to moderate pain at night such as headache, migraine, backache, toothache, and muscular pain that interferes with sleep.

• Short-term management of nighttime pain-related insomnia (difficulty falling asleep due to pain).
• Reduction of fever at bedtime when associated with common viral or minor bacterial illnesses.

Active Ingredients / Key Components:

• Paracetamol (acetaminophen) – 500 mg per tablet (analgesic and antipyretic).
• Diphenhydramine hydrochloride – 25 mg per tablet (sedating antihistamine with sleep-aid properties).

Dosage & Administration / How to Use:

• Swallow tablets whole with a sufficient amount of water. May be taken with or without food; taking with food may help reduce gastric discomfort in sensitive individuals.
• Use for the shortest duration possible. Do not use for more than 7 consecutive nights without medical advice.
• Children under 12 years: Not recommended unless specifically prescribed by a doctor.
• Do not take with any other products containing paracetamol or other sleep aids, antihistamines, or sedatives.
• Avoid alcohol while using this product due to increased risk of drowsiness and liver toxicity.

• Do not use with other products containing paracetamol, diphenhydramine, other sedating antihistamines, or other sleep aids to avoid additive toxicity and excessive sedation.
• Avoid use in patients with narrow-angle glaucoma, urinary retention, severe prostatic hypertrophy, or pyloroduodenal obstruction due to the anticholinergic effects of diphenhydramine.
• May cause marked drowsiness; do not drive, operate machinery, or perform tasks requiring alertness after taking this medicine.
• Chronic excessive ingestion of alcohol potentiates the hepatotoxicity of paracetamol; avoid alcohol while using this product.
• Use with caution in patients with liver disease, kidney disease, chronic alcoholism, or those taking other hepatotoxic medications.
• Consult your doctor before use if you are taking other medicines such as warfarin or other anticoagulants, CNS depressants (sedatives, tranquilizers), or medicines that may interact with antihistamines.
• Consult your doctor before use if pregnant or breastfeeding; nighttime sedatives and paracetamol combinations should only be used on medical advice.

Side Effects:
