Milga 40 Tablets
Description:
Milga 40 Tablets is a vitamin b complex supplement formulated by Eva Pharma, combining benfotiamine (vitamin b1), pyridoxine (vitamin b6), and cyanocobalamin (vitamin b12) to support nerve health and energy metabolism. It is commonly used as an adjuvant therapy in peripheral neuropathy, neuritis, and conditions associated with vitamin b deficiency. Milga helps improve nerve function, reduce neuropathic pain and tingling, and support overall nervous system performance in adults when used under medical supervision.
Indications:
- Adjunctive treatment of peripheral neuropathy of various causes (diabetic neuropathy, alcoholic neuropathy, drug-induced neuropathy) as directed by a physician.
- Management of neuritis, neuralgia, and nerve pain symptoms such as burning, tingling, numbness, and pins-and-needles sensations in the extremities.
- Supportive therapy in conditions associated with deficiency or increased requirements of vitamins b1, b6, and b12.
- Support of normal nerve function and regeneration in patients with chronic nerve irritation or compression (as advised by a healthcare professional).
- General support of energy production and healthy nervous system function in adults with inadequate dietary intake of b vitamins.
Active Ingredients / Key Components:
- Benfotiamine (vitamin b1) – 40 mg per tablet
- Pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin b6) – 60 mg per tablet
- Cyanocobalamin (vitamin b12) – 250 mcg per tablet
Dosage & Administration / How to Use:
- Recommended adult dose: 1–3 tablets daily, or as directed by your physician.
- Tablets are usually taken orally with a sufficient amount of water.
- May be taken with or after food to minimize any potential gastrointestinal discomfort.
- Do not exceed the recommended daily dose unless specifically instructed by a healthcare professional.
- Duration of use depends on the underlying condition and should be determined by your doctor, especially in chronic neuropathic conditions.
- If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is almost time for the next dose; do not double the dose to make up for a missed one.
Clinical Benefits:
- Supports healthy nerve function by providing essential neurotropic b vitamins (b1, b6, b12).
- Helps reduce symptoms of peripheral neuropathy such as tingling, numbness, burning, and nerve pain when used as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.
- Contributes to normal energy metabolism and helps reduce fatigue associated with b vitamin deficiency.
- Promotes nerve regeneration and maintenance of the myelin sheath, supporting long-term nerve health.
- Supports proper functioning of the nervous system and contributes to normal psychological function.
Warnings & Contraindications:
- Do not use Milga if you are hypersensitive or allergic to benfotiamine, pyridoxine, cyanocobalamin, or any of the excipients in the formulation.
- Prolonged high-dose use of vitamin b6 (pyridoxine) may cause sensory neuropathy; use only at the recommended dose and under medical supervision, especially for long-term therapy.
- Use with caution in patients with severe renal impairment or other serious medical conditions; consult your doctor before use.
- Consult your doctor before use if pregnant or breastfeeding; safety in pregnancy and lactation should be individually assessed.
- Consult your doctor before use if you are taking other medications, especially levodopa (without a dopa decarboxylase inhibitor), or other products containing vitamin b6 or b12.
- Not intended to replace a balanced diet or to be used as the sole treatment for neuropathy or other medical conditions.
- Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- If symptoms worsen, persist, or new symptoms appear, discontinue use and seek medical advice.
Side Effects:
- Generally well tolerated at recommended doses.
- Possible mild side effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort, nausea, or abdominal pain.
- Allergic reactions such as rash, itching, or swelling may occur in sensitive individuals; discontinue use and seek medical attention if these occur.
- Very high or prolonged doses of vitamin b6 may, in rare cases, cause sensory neuropathy (numbness, tingling, or burning in hands and feet); if such symptoms appear, stop use and consult your doctor.
- Seek immediate medical attention in case of severe allergic reaction (difficulty breathing, severe dizziness, swelling of face, lips, or throat).
