Description:
Mosedin 20 Tab 10 ml is an oral antihistamine medicine containing loratadine 10 mg, a second-generation H1 receptor antagonist used for the relief of allergy symptoms. It is commonly prescribed in Egypt for conditions such as allergic rhinitis, urticaria, and other histamine-mediated allergic reactions. Mosedin helps reduce sneezing, runny nose, itching, watery eyes, and skin rashes while causing minimal drowsiness compared with first-generation antihistamines.
Indications:
- Relief of symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis (hay fever), including sneezing, runny or blocked nose, nasal itching, and post-nasal drip.
- Relief of ocular symptoms associated with allergy such as itchy, red, or watery eyes (allergic conjunctivitis).
- Treatment of mild, uncomplicated urticaria (hives) and allergic skin conditions associated with itching and redness.
- Adjunctive management of angioedema as directed by a physician.
- Relief of symptoms in vasomotor rhinitis as part of the overall treatment plan.
- Amelioration of allergic reactions to blood or plasma transfusion as advised by a healthcare professional.
- Management of dermatographism (skin writing) to reduce wheal and flare response.
- Adjunctive therapy in anaphylactic reactions, after emergency treatment with epinephrine and other standard measures.

Dosage & Administration / How to Use:
- Adults and children 12 years and older: The usual recommended dose is 10 mg (1 tablet) once daily, or as directed by your physician.
- Children 2–11 years: Dose and suitability should be determined by a pediatrician; follow your doctor’s instructions and the product’s patient leaflet.
- Elderly patients or those with liver or kidney impairment: A lower or less frequent dose may be required; use only under medical supervision.
- Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Can be taken with or without food.
