How to Use:
- Step 1: Wash your hands thoroughly and ensure the oral syringe is clean and dry before each use.
- Step 2: Insert the syringe tip into the medicine bottle or dosing cup, then gently pull back the plunger to draw up the prescribed amount of liquid.
- Step 3: Check the graduated markings at eye level and adjust the plunger until the exact dose (up to 5 ml) is measured accurately.
- Step 4: Gently place the syringe tip into the child’s mouth, aiming toward the inside of the cheek, and slowly press the plunger to release the medicine.
- Step 5: After use, rinse the syringe with warm water and mild soap, flush water through the barrel several times, and allow it to air dry completely before storing with the protective cap on.
Suitable For:
- Age Range: Suitable for children and infants as directed by a pediatrician (commonly used from 1 year and above; for younger infants, always follow medical advice).
- Skin Types: Not a skin-contact care product; designed for oral medication administration and suitable for most children when used as directed.
- Use: Ideal for daily or occasional use when administering prescribed medicines, fever reducers, antibiotics, vitamins, or nutritional supplements in liquid form.
Parent Tips:
- Always double-check the prescribed dose with the markings on the syringe to ensure accurate medication delivery.
- Administer medicine slowly along the inside of the cheek to reduce the chance of choking or spitting out the dose.
- If your child is anxious, explain gently what you are doing and allow them to see or touch the syringe (without the medicine) to build trust.
- Keep a dedicated oral syringe for each child or type of medicine to avoid cross-contamination and confusion.
- Store the syringe in a clean, dry container with the cap on, away from heat and direct sunlight.
Safety Information:
- Design concept aligns with pediatric dosing recommendations; always follow your pediatrician’s instructions for dose and frequency.
- For oral use only – do not use as an injection device.
- Do not allow children to play with the syringe; always supervise use to prevent chewing or biting on the tip.
- Inspect the syringe regularly; if you notice cracks, discoloration, stiffness of the plunger, or damage, replace it immediately.
- Keep out of reach of children when not in use to avoid accidental misuse.
- If your child coughs, chokes, or shows signs of difficulty swallowing during administration, stop immediately and consult a pediatrician.
